All Hail Elizabeth Zimmerman

This is by far one of the strangest things I have ever knit, yes stranger than even the hyperbolic baby pants of the hammock. The baby surprise jacket by Elizabeth Zimmerman looks like a bad experiment in knitting and then presto it folds into the cutest jacket. And just in time too because my nephew James was born yesterday!
I am on my way to get buttons this afternoon to finish it up

I just became an auntie myself and was eyeing up the BSJ. Once I finish the blanket I'm working on that is. What yarn did you use?

Congrats on Aunthood. I wish I could tell you more about the yarn it was superwash worsted from downtown yarns- I think Rita only had two superwash yarns and that seemed right for a little one. It washed well.

A photo op of those hyperbolic baby pants is just about due -- I think young Milo has just about grown into them, JUST in time to need good warm pants for winter. Yay Auntie Makha!
